Dell introduced its first AMD-based presentation desktop, the Studio XPS 7100 by out setting AMD’s 6-core desktop Phenom IIs. It exercises the well-known chassis of previous models but balances up to a 2.8GHz Phenom II X6. Systems range up to a Radeon HD 5670 graphics card.

It can also take as much as 16GB of memory and 4TB of disk space from the factory.
To go with the development, 460W power is supplied to each system that is strongly sufficient to hold both the X6 line and more superior video than what Dell itself presents.
AMD remains the PC costs low, as an entry system begins at $499 but still contains a quad-core 2.8GHz Phenom II X4, 3GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and faster-than-usual Radeon HD 4200 incorporated video.
More rapid choices shift to a Radeon HD 5450 and advanced clock speeds. This 6-core processor values $899 with a 2.6GHz Phenom II X6, a Radeon HD 5670, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB disk.
