Samsung is preparing a 7-inch Android tablet for soon this year. The tablet will be named as Samsung S-Pad and should sprint Android. It can be a good alternative to Apple’s iPad (which runs iPhone OS).

According to ET News, the Samsung S-Pad tablet will be released in August – initially in South Korea, via SK Telecom. It holds 3G, Wi-Fi, USB and contact to Samsung Apps. It is the world’s first tablet to attribute a Super AMOLED display (similar to the Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy S phones).
The value of Samsung S-Pad is still undisclosed.
Samsung’s recent launched tablet is Samsung Mondi that has Windows Mobile 6.1, featuring WiMax and a full QWERTY keyboard.
Google and Nokia are perhaps setting tablets, too, and HP buying Palm (WebOS tablets being anticipated) in the near future.
