Yahoo services on tens of millions more mobile phones are going to make available by Samsung, including those administrating Samsung’s own Google Android and Bada platform.

Yahoo Services Are Available On More Samsung Mobile Phones

The devices will possess some or all of Mail, Messenger, Front Page, Search and Flikr, plus News, Finance, Contents, Calendar and Weather.

Senior vice president David Ko said,

“By making our most popular Yahoo services available on Samsung mobile devices around the world, we’re providing consumers with personally relevant mobile internet experiences that make it easy for them to stay connected to what’s important to them and explore the full potential of their device, Audience, Mobile and Local for Yahoo.We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Samsung and look forward to continuing to drive the global adoption of mobile internet services.”

The global squash start on subsequent month.

According to IDC – well behind Nokia with 36.4 percent, Samsung presently has 19.5 percent of the global cell phone market.

IDC says,
“But it was an upgrading over the preceding year’s 16.3 percent, largely, because of clever partnership deals.”

Its Smartphone share is still lesser, at just three percent. But the company has whispered that it aspires to triple this number this year.
