Samsung was one of the first laptop makers to put a Blu-ray drive in a more competitively priced laptop, and while the R780 isn’t what you’d call financial plan, it is extremely inexpensive and presents incredible value for money.

It is said that, the Blu-ray practice is a little unsatisfactory. The 17.3-inch screen features only a 1600 x900-pixel declaration – distant from a 1920 x1080-pixel Full HD motion – and this really shows throughout playback.
Images are pointed adequate, but colours are very washed out, with blacks, particularly anguish.

You can attach the laptop to your high-definition (HD) TV using the HDMI out port and enjoy Blu-ray discs this way, but it isn’t a best choice.
Nonetheless, this is still one of the deluxe appearing laptops around and brag a whirl model with a red and black design. It doesn’t show dirt easily either, significantly it manages to forever look smart.

Solid and Hard Build

Manufacturing quality is first-class, with the laptop’s board proving strong under stress. This determination interprets to the keyboard which offers an excellent typing practice. The isolated-key style has been in a job, and there’s also an enthusiastic numeric keypad for the standard number-crunches.

The touch pad is large, receptive and features lights placed in each corner. This looks grand and makes it easier to use in low radiance.

One criticism we do have, however, is it’s very easy to brush the touch pad while typing, causing unpredictable cursor performance, which is very irksome.

The laptop’s portability is varied. With the 2.9 kg it weighs is extraordinarily light, the 169-minute battery life is a bit of dissatisfaction, as we expect a least of 180 minutes from all modern laptops. Part of the cause for the short battery life is the influential but resource-intensive mechanism used.

The Intel Core i5 processor is progressive technology and provides presentation second only to the Acer Aspire 8942G-526G64Bi – quite an attainment bearing in mind the price variation.
