Microsoft [MSFT] has declared that they are not going to create a Microsoft Office Suite app for the Apple iPad [AAPL] as before the rumored former this year.

The option of an Office for iPad app came from a query asked to Mike Tedesco, and he answered as follows…

“Yeah, it’s something that we’re looking at,” said Microsoft Senior Product manager Mike Tedesco. “Obviously the announcement (of the iPad) is really fresh and there’s nothing to announce or nothing that I can talk to you about today.”

According to the chief of Microsoft’s business division Stephen Elop, Microsoft is ready to chat about it, and on the whole… it’s not happening and at close range that they have no plans to manufacture Office for iPad. And later in the business week he also said,

“We never say never, but we have no current plans to develop a version of Office for the Apple iPad.

Last year Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft said,

” it would create a version to work on Nokia Oyj’s smart phones, since millions of Office users already own those devices.”

While remarking on Office 2010 and the beta version that can at present be downloaded, we come to know that 6 million people have downloaded the recent version as the 3 million have downloaded Office 2007 when it was fresh. It is really a huge quantity of people, which shows that Office is still well-liked by the users. This is connected to a question about Google Docs being a confront to Microsoft. MS considered this not to be the fact.

Maybe in the coming year we’ll have a declaration about Office for iPad, but as it seems I expect they are intenting on getting their own tablet accurate and will have elevated hopes for excellent sales of that device.
